Hall plans set for green light at planning meeting
Plans for a new extension and residential units at Lemmington Hall are recommended for approval at next week's planning committee meeting.
Owners Aidan and Helen Ruff want to demolish a 1960s extension and build a replacement extension, renovate the Fenwick Summerhouse and create three new-build holiday let/staff accommodation units with new vehicle access. The application also seeks the change of use of the hall from residential to residential with function use.
l Members will also discuss a retrospective bid for the retention and remodelling of a dormer-roof extension at 45 Harbour Road in Beadnell.
This too is recommended for approval, although a previous similar application was refused before an enforcement notice was dismissed at appeal.
