There's no end in sight to the grey, dismal conditions as June begins with dull, grey skies and drizzly outbreaks.

A damp start today with mist, drizzle and fog likely will set the tone for the week.

Meanwhile, our friends on the other side of the Pennines are enjoying much better weather - with sattelite images from yesterday showing an East-West divide.
